Waterways Leisure Tourism, operator of Cordelia Cruises, on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 58.49 crore for the September quarter of the current fiscal, compared with a loss of Rs 8.9 crore in the year-ago period.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 23 crore in the April-June quarter of FY27.
Revenue from operations rose over 30 percent to Rs 133 crore in the July-September quarter, from Rs 102 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) turned positive at Rs 9.7 crore, compared with a loss of Rs 6.5 crore a year earlier.
The September quarter's profit included an exceptional gain of Rs 49.5 crore recorded by its subsidiary Bay Cruise Investments Inc. as compensation received without obligation for the early delivery of the vessel Sky.
