Shares of Acme India Industries made a positive debut on the BSE SME platform on October 9, listing at a premium of 12.76% over the initial public offering (IPO) price.
The stock listed at Rs 221 per share, against the issue price of Rs 196. Following the listing, the company's market capitalisation stood at around Rs 518.74 crore.
The listing came below the grey market premium (GMP) expectations. Acme India Industries shares were commanding a premium of nearly 22% on the morning of October 9, according to IPO tracking platform InvestorGain.

Acme India Industries raised Rs 121.69 crore through the IPO, which was offered in a price band of Rs 186-196 per share. The issue comprised a fresh issue of 54.07 lakh shares aggregating to Rs 105.98 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 8.02 lakh shares worth Rs 15.71 crore.
