Shares of Glass Wall Systems fell sharply in Wednesday's trade after the company reported a decline in consolidated profit after tax for the first quarter of the current fiscal.
The stock slipped more than 7 percent to Rs 254.70 per share on the NSE.
The selling pressure came after the company said in an exchange filing that its consolidated profit after tax declined 7.7 percent to Rs 17 crore in the quarter ended June 2026. Its net profit stood at Rs 19 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
However, revenue from operations rose 35.8 percent to Rs 107 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 79 crore a year ago.
Meanwhile, shares of Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd (ARCIL) surged over 10 percent after the company reported a 14.6 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated profit for the first quarter.
